The World Aquaculture Conference, which is hosted by the World Aquaculture Society (WAS), will hold from May 29th, 2023 to June 1st, 2023 in Darwin, Australia.
The yearly event will be graced by thousands of Africans and international guests who will meet in Darwin city for the event which will last for four days with contributions to developing new and existing ideas to develop the sector of aquaculture.
The event will provide an opportunity for the international aquaculture community – academics, industry researchers, market and industry analysts, government officials, policymakers, lawmakers, and industry representatives to show their work and exchange ideas and develop an innovation for the future of the aquaculture industry as we concentrate on the theme of “Supporting Strength in Aquaculture”.
The conference will have an ample technical program to present the latest developments in the industry.
WA2023 will offer an opportunity to measure the sector’s progress, while we discuss and debate the issues, ideas, mechanisms, and hands-on functional strategies toward building a better industry.
In addition, there will be immense opportunities to connect with each other during structured and free-flowing events.
With almost half of the world’s consumption of seafood coming from farms, aquaculture is playing an increasingly crucial role in handling the problem of global food security.
