Unilever has reinstated its commitments to improving the health of the environment by reducing plastic waste pollution.
This was revealed by Tim Kleinebenne, the Managing Director of Unilever Nigeria during a working visit to Wecyclers Nigeria Ltd in Lagos.
Both organisations who have been in partnership since 2014, had conversations on scaling up opportunities to improve the health of the planet by reducing plastic pollution in the environment.
According to a report, Unilever Nigeria is a century old in the country this year and one of the oldest manufacturing companies in Nigeria.
The company said it is committed to making sustainable living commonplace through its brand and operations.
