The Managing Director, Berger Paints Nigeria Plc, Alaba Fagun stated this while delivering a speech on the imperative of continuous sustainability discussions during the inaugural edition of the “True Colours” industry panel event.
The company pledged to embrace the highest standards in production processes, and environmental protection measures, ensuring the responsible management of toxic materials to prevent their release into the environment.
Fagun emphasised the importance of aligning these discussions with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to foster sustainable cities and communities. She also noted that achieving these SDGs necessitates collective responsibility and the formulation of enforceable policy frameworks by the government.
