Seven-Up Bottling Company (SBC) has released its 2024/25 Sustainability Report, themed “Making a CLEAR Difference,” reinforcing its commitment to responsible business practices, environmental stewardship, and positive community impact across Nigeria.
Anchored on its sustainability pillars of People, Planet, and Progress, the report provides a comprehensive overview of SBC’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance over the past financial year. It highlights key achievements across environmental management, social impact, and corporate governance, while underscoring the company’s ongoing efforts to embed sustainability into its core operations.
Covering the period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, the report documents activities across SBC’s head office and operations in Aba, Abuja, Benin, Enugu, Ibadan, Ikeja, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Kano. It marks the company’s first comprehensive ESG disclosure, offering stakeholders a clear view of its priorities, progress, and impact.
To ensure credibility and global relevance, the report aligns with leading frameworks, including the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards, alongside applicable local guidelines. Data presented in the report was sourced from internal systems and operational records across SBC’s nationwide facilities, with validation processes in place to ensure accuracy and reliability.

As such, the company’s sustainability efforts are guided by its Corporate Sustainability and CSR Policy, championed by its Executive Management, and supported by a framework that integrates environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and strong governance practices into the core business operations, ensuring that sustainable practices are embedded across all levels of the company.
