Sustainability professional, Titilope Oguntuga has joined IHS Towers, one of the largest independent owners, operators and developers of shared telecommunications infrastructure in the world as Director of Sustainability.
Prior to her new appointment, she was Head, Sustainable and Corporate Brand at Lafarge Africa Plc where she was charged with leading innovative social interventions that enabled Lafarge and the Holcim Group to continuously scale impact through specified focus areas.
Titilope is a management professional with experience across sustainable development, corporate governance, stakeholder relations, and strategic partnerships, communications and reputation management, creating a positive impact in human and environmental circles.
She efficiently positioned African-profit and non-profit brands for global recognition by advocating for social sustainability policies that are instrumental for growth in developed and emerging economies.
Having spent the last two decades taking action for social and environmental impact across Africa and MEA regions, reaching over a million direct beneficiaries, she has successfully positioned Lafarge as a valued organization that takes steps for national and global development.
Through her advocacy actions, she have facilitated several partnerships with the private, public, and social sectors and ensured the organization’s social license to operate.
Titilope started her career as Relationship Officer at Assured Investments & Securities, she then moved to USP Brand Management Consultants as Assistant Manager, Brand Development Group.
She also served at Mooreadvice as Head, Brand Management before porting to A.R.M Life as Lead, Corporate Communications and Brand Management where she introduced and implemented CSR programs for the entire ARM Group: Sponsorships, Donations, and “Run for the Future’’ advocacy program for the less privileged.
Titilope holds an MBA in Marketing from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife as well as a Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. She is also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
