Access Bank, HACEY Set Up Clean Water In Ten Communities In Ogun State

Towards addressing water issues in rural communities, HACEY Health Initiative, with support from Access Bank, recently handed over ten newly constructed boreholes to underserved communities across the Obafemi-Owode and Ota Local Government Areas of Ogun State.

This breakthrough under the ‘’Access to Clean Water Project’’, marks a giant step towards ensuring safe and sustainable water for enhancing access to safe and sustainable water sources for over 10 communities in Nigeria’s rural areas.

The ceremony was graced by community leaders, local government representatives, and officials from both HACEY and Access Bank, celebrated the successful completion of boreholes in the following communities: Arigbawonwo, Omu Arogun, Omu Ajibode, Omu Isoku and Omu Aleku. Other communities include Abaren, Okeeran, Kemta, Afojupa, and Ogunruneletu

Founded 16 years ago, HACEY is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health, economic inclusion, and rights of vulnerable populations across Nigeria, with a particular focus on women and girls. Its work spans over 16 states, covering all six geo-political zones in the country, promoting the integration of health, economic inclusion, and rights approaches for the benefit of its beneficiaries.
